Well. music is a special thing on the Atari. POKEY... the music ... chip had been created in the mid 1970s, and it seems, the creator didn't have a clue about music. But, it's not all hopeless ;) , as POKEY offers more than intended by the creator. Sadly, you'd need a special software to get the max out of POKEY.

- LOL. You guys don't know how much you approved the Amiga is a successor to the Atari 8 bits. That "modulation" of PAULA is 100% what POKEY does. And, well it's all there... just 2 generations ahead, as Atari left to put their advances computers onto the market.
And, well, I remember, back in the Days, seeing the Amiga Ball bouncing in one Desktop layer, while I was writing letters...
