• Surprised by the votes. Funny how only when a platform is unable to replay animation at full framerate does the majority of Demosceners not gaga and wow. XD
  
  And this with a sound card.
  
  I would say embrace the limits, stay true, deliver for your platform, and ppl will get it, even if it looks and sounds according to platform specs. Some will appreciate, knowing the platform and there is ample evidence here. Worth it much more than a back-slaps from a friend. The work done is understood.
  
  I don't believe in HW enhancements, all the platforms have that available (but very rarely allowed in competition) and PC, that's all it is, not a platform (and always allowed in competition, played on the beefiest pile of cards ofc, compomachine upgraded for $1000/yr).

  (Intentional) gurus were quite popular. I think the first one was Megalo Demos by Wild Copper. Also Laser Light by Scoopex (before I joined) and as a hidden part by me in a demo (also before I joined). ;)
  
  But what I like most is the story told in the (Guru) scroller - being deprived of an Amiga, visiting a friend that had one every day, and then finally getting your hands on one. <3 That was my story, too.

  As always Platon shows you can have fun and be creative, I really enjoyed this for the tone and the tune. Goes with the summer breeze. :)

• Obviously the fish pics are prompts until workstages, but more to the point, I'm to be excited by a random fish (and mammal) themed demo with a DJ track thrown in. I... just don't get it. If there's some idea or theme you gotta match stuff, make it about something.

• If 1991 is the accusation, this is the confession. With the technically impressive coming mostly from PC converters and compressors as in previous prods, it's a pleasant watch and a good change from overdone scripting/flashing previously.

• Pleasant scripted visuals and pleasant music, competes with an AMOS/Rose/H0ffman affair. You were creative, appreciate, didn't excite. Dunno why you don't get black bg/coder colors/complaints. I add smol screen complaint.
