- demo Windows UNGOL by Nuance [web]
- Neither are we early adopters, nor are we some kind of people trying to fill our bank accounts with compo prize money of small parties. We're doing demos since 1991 now and having a look at our release list here on Pouet, you can clearly see that we released a demo for e.g. every Breakpoint the last years. And even if we knew that we won't win or have a chance to win, we continued and will continue to release demos also on the parties we believe to have no chance. What we love is the demoscene, it's parties and we also love to do releases now and then (even without any party). Why? Because this is what the demoscene means to us. And if we decide to release our demo at a small scale party that seems to lack releases and decide to use the price money for a barbeque with other scene friends, this should be clearly visible that it's not about the money for us. And if you know us personally (like some of you already do) you surely would know that we're not calculating bastards, but demosceners that care for the scene. But the way on how we want to give something back is our decision. We'd love to see the people thinking badly of us at the tUM*08, having some barbeque and beers with us and getting to know us better. You're deeply invited.
The coder that got the demobox started his vacation right after buenzli, but an nvscene staff member was already e-mailed and told that he will tackle this as soon as he's back. - isokadded on the 2008-08-18 18:18:18

- demo Windows UNGOL by Nuance [web]
- First things first:
If you watched the live stream of the prizegiving on D.TV you surely heard that we will put the whole price money (jury prize and public vote prize) we got for the demo back into the scene by organizing a huge barbeque free for all sceners present at the tUM*08 this year. This was decided after heavy internal discussions after the Assembly and even more after the Evoke and it's partly weak competitions. We fully stand behind our decision of what we think is the best we can do for the demoscene and the local parties. So. Come to tUM*08 and be our guest at a nice demoscene family barbeque and have some fine "schnitzel". ;)
Concerning the demobox kit we also already decided before Buenzli to get in touch with the NVscene staff, but unfortunately (the core team members of this demo project have normal workdays of 10 - 14 hours and also had to manage to finish the demo, so we had to priorize) didn't find the time to do so before, but will as soon as possible. We also wish NVscene a lot of nice releases, success and all the best. - isokadded on the 2008-08-18 00:39:31
