- The more I watch this the more autobiographical it feels.
If not strictly personally, perhaps as some universal totality that applies to all of Us. - isokadded on the 2020-02-21 11:44:34
- demo Amiga AGA 1992 by Focus Design [web]
- Quote:
Correction, folks in 1992 would've killed for the 060 accelerator it requires. ;)
to be honest i didn't notice and thought this was ecs, and then i afterwards did see it was aga i assumed it was regular 020 or something, so... point taken, and i agree
but still a great show, period appropriateness isn't everything - isokadded on the 2020-02-14 11:33:56

- faux retro, but in a very good way, except maybe for of the self-referentialism is a bit too on the nos
regardless, folks would've killed for this in 1992 - rulezadded on the 2020-02-13 22:12:13
- demo Commodore 64 Remains by Booze Design
- extremely nice consistent—if a bit too languid for its own good—execution of a theme, kudos for sticking to it

- 4k demo ZX Spectrum Megademica 4K by Serzhsoft
- The hype sort of missed me on this one. I get it's a 4k and all, but looping—seemingly random albeit stylistically consistent—LUTs for minutes on end is hardly entertaining or stimulating for me. The vocal bits at the end certainly flatten any moodiness preceding it. As far as the technical feat goes I'm obviously a layperson at judging it but it certainly doesn't feel outside the realm of thinkable to me.
It's kinda cool but I guess I just don't know hot to feel about it beyond that. - isokadded on the 2020-02-13 22:01:06
