- diskmag Windows Hugi #35 - Disruption in Chaos Theory by Hugi [web]
- To be honest, I missed the whole EP saga so I'm not in any position to talk about that.
I guess I know that Adok and Magic aren't entirely innocent and they really shouldn't have released this article, but all this Hugi flaming has reached the extent that makes me genuinely uncomfortable. It's almost like playground bullying that can really mess people up and I've always felt like the scene should be a place where people can escape that kind of behaviour. - isokadded on the 2008-11-04 19:02:56

As soon as attention for Hugi drops, they roll this again in one form or another to get themselves remembered.
Just like in the real world. - isokadded on the 2008-11-04 18:50:54

stop being a hypocrite, wade.
I have never sabotaged a scene production, persecuted someone, promoted racist or tasteless views or anything of the like. Any mischief or practical jokes I've been involved in have always been harmless. So I miss your point.
Quote:And yet they happily published articles from EP for god knows how long...
Have you seen some of the disgusting stuff posted on Pouet? You don't see everyone witchhunting ps or other mods. - isokadded on the 2008-11-04 18:49:50

i messaged dipswitch that i was able to sneak that article to hugi which was quite funny
What's funny about sabotaging a scene mag that lots of people have worked really hard to make?
Hugi isn't the perfect mag by any means, but I respect the staff and contributors for doing something productive towards the scene and giving talented musicians and artists a platform to release their work. The scene needs more of that.
If you don't like the mag, don't read it and just leave it be.
All this stalking, harrassment and generally destructive behaviour is something the scene could do without. - isokadded on the 2008-11-04 18:38:05

I think it's very sad that so many good (non-racist) sceners worked hard on this, contributed some great work and it all gets dismissed and thumbed down because of one troll. - isokadded on the 2008-11-04 00:45:15

- I thought it was a great mag and a lot of effort went into the contents. Design is quite nice and the music is excellent. Really enjoyed reading the interviews with Ra and Fairfax too.
As for the bad taste article...yes it sucks, but it's no worse than the stuff I see on popular websites from day to day. The whole puprose of it is to get under people's skin. - rulezadded on the 2008-11-04 00:16:10
- demo Commodore 64 Edge of Disgrace by Booze Design
- The live version gives me goosebumps and 2nd time round was even better than the first. Those transition effects are so incredible and slick. It really does show the effectiveness of linking demo parts together.

- I'm not a big fan of 8bit demos, but I really enjoyed this one.
The graphics were great and the transitions were some of the best ever and gave it the feeling of a continuous and coherent show. A lot of thought went into the design. - rulezadded on the 2008-10-29 02:36:55
