- dila: It could be done faster in software. However, the OSX version runs well on my iBook G3/600, with 8MB ATi Rage Mobility, and the PC version flies on a Celeron 433, with ATi Radeon 7000 PCI... And these are nearly-a-decade-old hardwares. So, who cares. It weren't done to prove any kind of technical superiority (even if it runs well on relatively slow hardware, IMO), but for fun.

- Thumbing down this stuff deserves a thumb down. The demo itself deserves a pure thumb up. Softwarerendering still rules. And if you think it doesn't, first think about TBL stuff on Amiga. True coding/demomaking talent doesn't need anything else...

- crusader: known problem. some suckage causes oggvorbis decoder to crash in libC on Linux. it's not our fault. i made a fixed version of the demo, which doesn't link against libc at all on Linux, with a complettely reworked sound engine (the demo is in Pascal, but the soundplayer is/was in C), but was too lazy to release it yet. :)
