- 64k MS-Dos/gus Love Creation Mk2 - Urban Love by inf
- idk, i appreciate the effort and i (think i) can see where they were going with this, but certainly didn't hit the mark
extremely dull audio in this one - isokadded on the 2020-04-23 21:42:48

- 64k MS-Dos MS-Dos/gus bakkslide 7 by Hellcore [web] & Omnicolour [web]
- One of the best demoscene productions ever made. Why is it that late 90s DOS 64k intros somehow are the most potent and aged the best out of anything?

- demo MacOSX PPC MacOSX Intel Numbers [party remix]
- The tech this is made with is worth a vote up alone, but it's actually a wonderful demo altogether. Especially the analog video look is probably by far the best of its time. I also like the tension brought by the music

- demo Windows Eternal Fortress by Peisik [web]
- The tech is very nice, delighted to finally see fractals rendered in fidelity that does them justice in terms of detail and lack of aliasing; the colossal nature is further emphasized by the graceful and majestic camera direction set to the tune of the equally imposing and introspective sound
one of the more meaningful and personal demos in the compo, the kind that is determined to get trampled by the compo's latter entries
the content side is also still a bit thin due to deadline constraints, but then again this also leaves room for more exploration, especially when it comes to things like volumetric effects and extracting even further detail, as well as more comprehensive lighting altogether =)
fractals deserve more then low quality ray marching via a single shader pass - rulezadded on the 2020-04-21 17:37:28
