- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Desert Dream by Kefrens
- Desert Dream rules! I got the DivX version from Amidemos and it rocks, so the real version must at least be that good. The music rocks!
What are the three music parts called?
My guess
1.) The Desert Dream
2.) Checknobahnk (I know this one is right, I knew this piece before seeing DD)
3.) His Masters' Rasters
Anyway, this demo is really cool.
And Gargaj, is that why the Conspiracy logo is a sawblade? ;-) - rulezadded on the 2003-08-08 04:41:59

- The redesigned final version is much, much better, with one exception. It takes 8 minutes to precalc on my P3-800, wheras the party version only took one. Thank goodness you included the speedometer-like loading bar or it would be unbearably awful

- 4k Windows A Full ! by Fuzzion [web]
- Wow! It's a ripoff of fr-025, and The Matrix. And the music is catchy. I think it's the first 4k whose music I've liked. If there were any others, I bet they were Fuzzion too.

- Very nice! The music was all in all better, and the effects were cooler... I especially liked how the line about fabric seemed to emerge from the glowing thing, and early on when you see the nebula-thingy I was expecting the Enterprise to come flying by...
Now just do something about the 256 color textures...

- Final versions are smaller than party versions!

- Nice pictures... I'm not a fan of the ones with the naked women, though
Barber's Agnus Dei gives a very different atmosphere to this prod. Is using a recording of PD music still considered ripping? - rulezadded on the 2003-06-25 14:43:53
- intro Atari Lynx Lynx Reloaded by Sage [web]
- I should rephrase: Back in 1989 or whenever, the Gameboy didn't have the installed-base advantage, yet it won over a machine that was far superior, far more than comparing the GP32 and GBA today (and besides, the GBA now has an enormous game library). How'd it do that?

- intro Atari Lynx Lynx Reloaded by Sage [web]
- I just looked up the Atari Lynx... 16 colors out of 4096, 4 channel 8 bit sound? 6502 variant processor? Built-in 3D? and from like, 1989? Why didn't the Lynx do better against the Gameboy? I mean, I know why the Gamepark32 isn't doing so well, but the GBA is far closer and has more games; but the original gameboy didn't back then, why did the Gameboy win against a superior color and sound machine?

- demo Linux MS-Dos Windows State Of Mind by Bomb
- Graphics: A bit dated now, but it _was_ 1998
Effects: Very few, but they fit
Music: Ripped! :-(
Design: Great concept...
My opinion is, if you're going to rip music, you better have a good reason. The NextEmpire demos did not have that great a reason, because that was all there was. Here the music was chosen to fit the theme (or vice versa, but at least it fits) - rulezadded on the 2003-06-24 02:11:44

- ... and a thumb. The .gif doesn't quite do it justice, it runs at about 30 fps on-calc.
