- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Alien Apparat 80%
- Excellent palettes; looks like an AGA demo for me. A subtle humor, good sync and a typical Aceman'ish bouncy tune. The effects are simple, but one can see a truly big progress that Carrion has made since Teapot Genie. And the textured cube was more than decent!

- demo Amiga AGA Naughty by Nature [web]
- Lovely, carefully worked out palettes! I also enjoyed the transparencies and stuff and thought the cube twister was awesome. Elegant and fresh demo. And what everyone else said about the title + group name combination.

- Thanks for the delicious final. Quite an improvement over the party version!

- demo Amiga AGA Storm Rider by Focus Design [web]
- Not a big fond of the visuals (too unpolished and kinda half-baked for me), but the soundtrack is awesome. Probably my fave tune from Hoffman ever; dope funky dub jamz that remind me of The Egg.

- demo Atari ST Execution by SMFX
- Wow, great stuff! Attention to detail and pacing are incredible. I can only imagine how much time and energy went into it. Enjoyed the plasma before greetings part, the graphics, the simple yet very slick greetz concept and thought the first part of the music was just awesome. Perhaps zoom rotator could be a little bit shorter. One of the best ST demos I've seen in a while. Plus what Dma-SC said.

- Awesome! Another demo that Blueberry will watch over and over and over again. Dope chord progz, Sigveseb!

- demo Amiga AGA Chapter7 by Skarla
- This stunning demo absolutely deserves to be in this year's Amiga top 10 IMO. But to make it happen it needs your thumbs! :-)

- demo Amiga AGA Chapter7 by Skarla
- Awesome! How this ended up 3rd is beyond me.
+ the opening scene and these faint bouncing sounds (pity they don't cast a shadow though)
+ 3d metaballs
+ the jelly/kissel tunnel and then the camera getting inside
+ the dreamy, majestic smoke-like thing
+ great soundtrack that doesn't sound like a typical demoscene tune (it's been a while since I've heard dub elements in a demo track) , but I feel it's a bit random and too much is happening
On a sidenote: although it's great that Jamie follows what is happening on Amiga scene, some inspirations are a tad bit too obvious :-) - rulezadded on the 2017-12-21 10:12:06
- demo ZX Spectrum Partyzanci 2017 by Joker [web]
- There is something amazing in going to 2017 party and seeing a brand new Joker release. Resurrecting La Linea after 25 years was kind of touching for many people in the audience, including myself. Thank you.
Liked the humour, graphics and really enjoyed the credits part. And the funky tune by Jammer is awesome!
Nice to meet and talk to you, Dalthon. Hope to see THE Amiga release someday in the future :-) - rulezadded on the 2017-12-16 20:47:52
- diskmag Amiga OCS/ECS Irregular Review #4 by Spaceballs [web]
- When I saw the first issue of IR I thought who the hell needs a diskmag today, but I was so wrong! Reading the reviews I realized how I missed the good ol' diskmag days when people cared enough about demos to delve out of their comfort zone to write about them. IR proved there was a huge gap in the demoscene and I'm happy that you guys filled it. Thank you.
I liked Hoffman's music reviews. I used to do something similar in 99-02 when we (with Slayer) were running Taboo magazine. It's good to know that someone actually listens to compo tracks - I always thought almost no one bothers to check them.
What I'd love to see in the next issues:
- graphics reviews,
- interviews,
- the laidback groove by DJ Jazzy Juice is very nice, but one more song would be nice, as there is so much to read this time. - rulezadded on the 2017-12-12 10:27:45
