• cdc #1: Ambrozia by Pulse [web]

• musicdisk MS-Dos Ambrozia by Pulse [web]
• Several tunes from this musicdisk are very much enjoyed by the Nectarine audience: Ambrozia and Celtic Waves have ratings of ~4.6; Fountain of Sighs, Celtic Waves and Suspiria are rated at ~4.4, and Banana Boat 2 is a time-honoured champion of "crap requesting"!

Excellent musicdisk, one of the best in my personal opinion. Ambrozia is great work music with excellent evolving motifs, Fountain of Sighs is one of my favourite scenefolk pieces, the rest has full of soul, and even the little UI buttons for those songs are drawn with great care.

• demo Linux Windows MacOSX PPC VARIFORM by Kewlers [web]
• The tune to this demo is the king of newschool remix material on Nectarine!

With the rating of ~4.6 and 140+ favourites, it has over 15 remixes (sic!) - enough for a nearly 2-hour radio session, and I remember many a night of "Variform queue" on Yes' Nectarine in the 2000s.

• demo Commodore 64 Edge of Disgrace by Booze Design
• The tune for this prod is among the highest-voted songs on Nectarine! (Rating ~4.6, with 150+ favourites.)

I was so surprised something like this could be released on C64 in the 2000s - still am. This demo is a bit too long to my taste, but it's mostly due to how jam-packed with goodness it is: the ending leaves me drained like a good classical music concert, mind bursting with new information for analysis.

• 64k Amiga AGA electricity by Appendix [web]
• The soundtrack to this prod is among the most popular songs on Nectarine! (Rating ~4.7, with 150+ favourites!)

My personal favourite, too! AHX is a format full of hidden gems, and Jazzcat showcases the format's potential nicely. I also very much enjoy this limited style of 3D animation where style and direction becomes very important.

• demo Windows Lifeforce by Andromeda Software Development [web]
• The tune for this demo has been among the most requested pieces of music on Nectarine. (With rating ~4.6 and over 150 favourites!)

Amazing storytelling, and great application of ASD's trademark style. This is definitely aMUSIC at his musical best, and the first time I realised real life cultural artifacts can be scanned and integrated into top-rated demoscene productions like that. It resides in my mind somewhere next to the game SOMA and the Soviet movie Solaris - a conflicting position yet chosen out of respect.

• 64k Windows fr-030: candytron by Farbrausch [web]
• Nectarine listeners definitely think the tune for this prod found a place where it belongs! (Rating ~4.7, with over 160 favourites and a very popular remix!)

The demo's not a personal favourite of mine, but it's mostly because the lady's obstructive the view of beautifully done background animations. The vocoder work in the soundtrack is one of the best in scenemusic, and direction is on par for Farbrausch - e.g., stellar!

• Paniq's music for this prod still remains quite popular on Nectarine! (Rating 4.3, with over 160 favourites!)

My favourite koan, and great psychedelic visuals for an invitation prod. The music is probably one of Paniq's best works (except for maybe Zum Projekt, but that's me being biased).

• The tune for this prod has been one of the most popular pieces of music in Nectarine! (Rating ~4.6, with 170+ favourites.)

The art for this one has always given me the jeebies - definitely not my cup of tea, but it's still significant for the scene.
