• I almost feel like thumbing it up, since it's probably pretty successful at what it was intended to be.. but I feel that would be a common mistake (almost like a fallacy of some sort). It's just not really something I want to spend time seeing. I could imagine the visuals being used for a few seconds as part of a larger demo, or to set some atmosphere at a certain point in a game even.. but it's really to me more of a demonstration/experiment of some potential than a product I'd actually like to experience on its own.

• Oh yeah. The intro scrolly part was nice too -- although the scrolling was choppy (again, I wonder why it was so slow and if it's the same reason). I may have liked to see the demo run with that a little more, since I nearly forgot it was there at all until reading the comments.

• Lighting is nice.
  
  I ran on a 9600GT. It ran quite slowly (low fps) at 1600x1200 with no multisampling. I was disappointed that it wasn't appreciably faster when I tried it at 1024x768. I wonder why (technically) that is.. since that usually makes a much bigger difference.

• I agree with elsewhere. At first I liked the mellowness, then the hard guitar bothered me a bit.. then for a moment, I was thinking that it was becoming a random mishmash of crap.. but then I got the feeling that you'd followed your own vision so boldly that you actually managed to find some kind of cohesiveness. Respect :) (and it worked a lot better for me than asd demos typically do.. though I'm confused on that since I'm tempted to give eryx a cdc)

• I was thinking near the beginning that the color separation had been used tastefully and with restraint on the floating white glowy things.. but then later, it got overused. Still nice though. Something special about the synth in the music too.. that reminds me of kubrick movies a bit (which isn't a bad thing).
