Due to a few questions and requests, a final version of the invitation featuring a few modifications will be released soon, although EVOKE is almost over now :) - isokadded on the 2004-08-29 17:13:32

- Okkie: there is no scene award for invitations (so far), too bad ;)

- demo Linux Windows obsoleet by Unreal Voodoo [web]
- Very uneven quality, some things are really cool whereas a few others are really badly done.
Mixed feeling in the end, thumb up anyway.
I prefered We Cell / Kewlers though :) - rulezadded on the 2004-08-26 22:34:28
- demo Windows MOPED by Mayoneez And The Boys [web]
- pretty cool and good physics engine but it lacks some "demoscene feeling" for a thumb up :)

- demo Windows we cell by Kewlers [web]
- EXCELLENT!
I made prelimary effects with that kind of weird fur effect some time ago but I guess I can now delete them since this one looks much better :)
This demo proves that one can still make original and nice looking effects with low hardware requirements (no shaders). It runs pretty fast on my old GeForce. - rulezadded on the 2004-08-26 20:59:24
- 64k Windows The Prophecy - Project Nemesis by Conspiracy [web]
- Really nice and very good engine as usual. The meteors part is somewhat slow on my PC (1.7ghz gf4ti) and they look weird.
I found the intro a little bit boring despite all the good things :)
Good work though! - rulezadded on the 2004-08-25 22:44:56

- Krabob: as mentioned in the nfo file, we did not use any tool, everything is hardcoded from scratch, including things such as events management.
Yes, 64k intros can still be made without those trendy introtools and softsynths! ;) - isokadded on the 2004-08-20 18:10:20

- Dbug: some time? is one month "some time"? :)
I cant do much to fix runtime speed issues encountered with a few ATI cards/Drivers and OpenGL when I dont own any ATI card myself. ATI Drivers (especially those for Radeon) seem to handle OpenGL states a very different than those from Nvidia, that's why the SOTA 2004 invit had unexpected slowdowns on some Ati/Drivers combo, whereas it runs at 60fps on my GF2mx. I'll fix them when I get a Radeon. - isokadded on the 2004-08-20 17:46:02
