- diskmag Windows Hugi #25 - Fairy Power by Hugi [web]
- i used to read hugi last time like X years ago, as it was called hugendubelexpress and was a really really lame mag. now i thought it got better, and yeah, it partially got... but only partially.
what i really appreciate are those detailed music tutorials, written by people who seem to have a clue of REAL music theory - i could have needed such tutorials as i started tracking 5 years ago...
the news section is a joke - none of this news are so brandnew that one hasn't read them on ojuice or some other sites. where's the point ? diskmags like jurassic pack bring really EXCLUSIVE news, but whats the point of just getting some stuff from the web ?
another thing that already annoyed me in old hugendubelexpress is that whole "reallife" stuff. come on, keep things divided ! i dont need reallife stuff in a mag that tries to be about demoscene - i have my reallife already so i get my reallife stuff in actual reallife.
the music is actually poor aswell, at least the regular one. sounds like cheap roleplaygame music. i would like to hear the hidden stuff, as zalza's chippies pretty rule - but i have no patience to search for hidden parts in a mag that doesn't really convince me.
all in all, here you go with an old hugi reader from the bbs scene days who found it lame back then and hoped they would improve. this hope now got crushed finally. of course, adok is doing huge work, perhaps i should give him respect for that, but whats the point if it's already over 4 years and the mag isnt still much better when it comes to contents.
and stefan, just because hugi "sucks" it doesnt mean diskmags suck. you just showing your disrespective attitude again to show how "cool" it is to be "newschool". pretty poor imho.
big up the great diskmags which are still active ! ARACHNOPHOBIA, JURASSIC PACK, SUBLIMINAL EXTACY, SHOWTIME, PAIN for sure... i am looking forward to the new WORLD CHARTS, such a powerful collaboration of scene giants like silents, scoopex and hoodlum can't do nothing wrong. but time will tell... - sucksadded on the 2002-06-30 02:20:59

- well he was no real teacher, he was someone who did some "AG" (dont know how to translate it) at school. it was really
wicked, we did even learn some assembler there... - isokadded on the 2002-06-28 02:55:03
