- In case someone still has the original xm ("no compromise"), I'd like to have it. :)

- 64k Windows fresnel by kolor [web]
- The sequel is better in every way, but this was quite neat as well. ;)

- demo Linux MS-Dos Windows Tribes by Pulse [web] & Melon [web]
- In retrospect, this is probably the only DOS demo that attempted to produce a cinematic experience and managed to somehow pull it off. There's excellent and vastly underestimated scene direction, a great soundtrack, texturing that works(!), memorable scenes galore (particle dome, alien head touchdown, b/w limbo lights, etc.); by comparative scale, there's nothing even remotely as ambitious in the scene today and given the vastly superior tech we have these days, that is kinda sad.

- 64k MS-Dos Smoke Yellow Weed by Acme
- Goofy and TPOLM-ish (with the tunnels and all...). I like. :)

- demo MS-Dos Club Honey by Acme
- Rushed 'quicky' release with good design backdrops and music, but barely any effects. :/

- 64k MS-Dos Blows your Nose by Acme
- Filler with one generic texture look-up effect. Tune & graphics would have deserved better.

- demo MS-Dos After Death by Realtime
- The Doom level and gameplay recreation part is spot-on, considering that the official source release didn't happen before 1997. The second part is some underwhelming sequel to Goldorak, their '95 Mecha parody demo.

- demo MS-Dos/gus Goldorak by Realtime
- Grendizer homage and appropriately obscure, awesome and terrible at the same time. The Doom-textured Wolfenstein part and the fighting scenes are especially funny. :D
