  To my knowledge the A500+ is not affected by the design limitations you mentioned. And the Amiga 68000 OCS / ECS is also A2000 and A600 where the real Fast ram is more popular.

  In my learning path, with my cracktro, I have explored the old-school 1 pixel sine scroller effect, reshaping the code to make use of the real Fast ram.
  Real Fast ram basically allows an effective parallelism between the cpu and the blitter.

  The cracktro requires 512 KB of real Fast ram (memory connected directly to the cpu bus, as opposed to the so called slow ram).
  And that is also why we were allowed to run it on the A1200 system at Revision.
