- I haven't thumbed this yet..? When I first saw/heard this about a decade ago I thought it was awesome. Still is a cool prod.

- demo Amiga AGA Soliloquy by Elude [web]
- Very pretty. The opening credits made me think of DMC or Castlevania or some such.

- Props for building your own platform, but the demo really wasn't that good.

I tried doing a native port, but it seems i couldn't set up a double-buffered 16bit framebuffer, and it was very slow anyway.
What about the VRAM display mode? It only works on one screen (unless you do screenswapping, but you don't need to render to both screens do you?) but you get four 256x192 px 15-bit buffers to play with.
Or you can just use a standard BG mode with 15-bit direct color BG layers that can be rotoscaled and just flip between which layer is displayed between frames.

and I'm sure libnds includes some examples of this.

- demo Java Mobile Phone java.util.Demo by k2 [web]
- Well I ran it on a W880 now and the volume issue was gone, but the two other issues still remained. JFYI.

- demo Java Mobile Phone java.util.Demo by k2 [web]
- Ok overall.
A couple of issues, might be due to my phone (I ran this on a W760 with beta-status SW):
The music is really loud, even if you turn the volume all the way down to the lowest non-mute level. The music also stops completely about halfway through the demo.
The particles have transparency issues (You can see the gray squares surrounding them, which I'm assuming shouldn't be visible).

- demo Windows Falling Down by ukscene allstars [web]
- Some of the textures looked a bit bland. And sometimes when it panned horizontally it started stuttering (might just be my computer). But overall it was very enjoyable. The funny-walks part was nice to see (I hope the ministry didn't run all out of money after this demo ;)
