- Ok. Once again I'll comment. It's not even inconsistent, the parts simple don't fit.
After watching the demo you feel like eating everything from the menu of some mixed indian-italian-greek restaurant.. in a very small portions.. instead of just one delicious dish composed carefully to enjoy every bite of it.
I can't believe anyone can honestly watch it over and over again and enjoy it without having a feeling that it's about time to.. vomit, sorry.
I'm sorry. This demo is not sophisticated.
It's not genius. It's just little above the average, that's all.

- The demo is not very consistent. You've picked an approach to "impress the audience" the most. Some nice ideas here and there and creative experiments/work.
Big boom at the end - again the sign that audience must be so excited that they literally explode - isn't it because you wanted to imitiate sexual act ; ) ? To conclude: very good example of OMG/jaw dropping/wet pants/uh/oh/etc... approach.
So my last words: uh oh oh my god.. yeah yeah... bestest evar ever hip hip hurray - isokadded on the 2007-08-05 14:45:12
- demo Windows Beyond the walls of Eryx by Andromeda Software Development [web]
- Nice work, but.. singularity at the end?
You must be aware that this is not emotional or strange at all. And you are trying to define undefined.. any reason for that ?
Why not at the end just show this little yellow dwarf with 4 hands that is rotating those spinning wheels ? Come'on guys - don't you have any sense of humor ? : P
I have a challange to all those leading demo groups (especially FB,ASD,Plastic): if your next demo will end up with something silly and simple as that... you will have to watch my new demo/intro and your brains will explode / turn into noise (or singularity or whatever) afterwards instead ;) !

- demo Windows Angelic Forum by ALLien Senses [web] & anadune [web]
- actually story is somehow nice... I forgot the spiritual/religious aspect of it... takie milutkie jest :) = softening my heart a bit, brings hope and leaves good/warm emotions...
it is also nice that it represent a different style - rulezadded on the 2007-04-15 00:48:04
- demo Windows fr-041: debris. by Farbrausch [web]
- I'm sure I have seen the spirit of it somewhere.. FF7 the movie, a road scene? a coincidence probably, but.. a camera movement, roads, rubbish, destruction, lighting/bloom... of course inspiration might be a mix of many exepriences you might have (i.e. going down the street, travelling by train, eating cubeflakes with a milk).
As for the cubes: at first (on demoscene.tv) I thought they are blended together blobby-way.. it looked like the most impressive effect in the demo (because of compression of course).. but apperently cubes are just a set of cubes, not connected with any kind of smooth skin :'(
Thumb up for overall composition and models/textures generated with a small/consistent set of rules.

- Nice and a lot of work, but IMHO... the story and poem is too simple, naive, cheesy... and the same goes for camera path. A few very nice static scenes.

- demo Windows fr-055: 828 by Farbrausch [web]
- so yes.. I agree in Bonzaj that MFX demo was better from that point of view, although well.. c'mon - it was bad in other aspects... and crappily based on Matrix - duh - what were they thinking ? and also not polished enough... I'm sorry to say it: but well, I feel respect only to more serious artists that had great talents (and I don't feel like one of those, it's a long hard way, I'm not saying you can't achieve that).. although it is funny sometimes to watch those amateur crappy things and how people react emotionally at it - sort of like an artists school :)
