- demo SNES/Super Famicom Smash It by Elix
- Are you fukin kidding me??? A Ctrix track!!!
Seriously, look him up on youtube with among other thing his gAtari guitar! ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S8e7g8kJIlo ) If you love 8bit chiptune acid-techno-trance-dance, you won't be disappointed!
The music made it for me. So dynamic and energetic! Start like nothing with some credits and then BOOM! lol Graphically it's was good and went OK with the music. I liked it very much over all.
I *definitively* want to see more of those fines folks from Elix (Ferris, Ctrix and Alien) on the SNES! TIP: I don't think the FX chip has ever been used in a demo. That would be amazing! - rulezadded on the 2014-10-20 03:18:22

- demo JavaScript Lahti by The Royal Elite Ninjas Inc. [web]
- Ok, FINALLY found the way to make it work.
Must rename the demo folder to "demo" and use this command line from the folder containing the folder "demo". Can also create a .bat batch file if your want:
start chrome.exe --args --allow-file-access-from-files %~dp0\demo\index.htm
Work with glitches on Chrome v37, but work ok on Chromium v40. A .bat batch file should have been included to avoid this mess...
Other than that, ok but not a great demo. No real music to speak off, more like ambient sounds and noises you typically found in 1KB demos. Nothing really coherent either; no story, no message. Short at under 2 min. Could probably have been done in less than 64K by talented programmers instead of nearly 2MB. I liked the heavy, dark atmosphere. Overall, forgettable and unimpressive. - sucksadded on the 2014-10-13 23:49:25

- Don't work on any of the 6 browsers I have installed on my PC...
Only black screen with music on 4 (IE11, Operas 24, Chrome 64 v37, Chromium 64 V40), and black screen + horizontal gray strip with music on the other 2 (WaterFox and Firefox 32.0.3).

- Made my overlclocked GFX card crash!!! DX11 power! Had to step down 13Mhz to make it work! lol
Very nice, very polished high end graphics for a demo. - rulezadded on the 2014-10-06 03:18:08
- demo Commodore 64 pandas by Panda Design [web]
- Very nice song indeed. But that's hardly a "demo", more like a musical slide show.
Using Vice here (x64sc.exe, the high precision version) version 2.4.5 rev 27905M and it works fantastic! Don't forget to turn on "true drive emulation" as it's often the source of problems if left off, especially with demos/games with odd/unusual loading routine. - rulezadded on the 2014-10-02 02:39:05

- Apparently, this won 2nd place by default as there was only 2 participants in this category. My guess is if they were 50, this would have placed 50th.
