- 64k Windows When Silence Dims The Stars Above by Conspiracy [web]
- not your typical scene production for sure. i like that this intro has a lot of scenes with quite basic lighting and (i would argue) quite simple geometry but you are able to make them look nice simply by having a structured story, a nice tone mapping and a good composition.

- demo invitation Linux Windows SIMULA~8.BSP by Hackers [web]
- i want to add that i like that you gave this a very up beat feel. when for a quake
engine game i would somehow expect to hear very moody and ambientish soundtrack.
now all we need is a mod where you get the "enemies" drunk with your guns salmari and minttuviina. - isokadded on the 2018-04-03 02:53:02
- demo Windows Rainbow Clash - Gravity Ride by United Force [web] & Digital Dynamite [web]
- felt too similar to your previous releases.
like the cocoon demo in the same compo the post processing and visual overload was too much for my eyes. - isokadded on the 2018-04-03 02:44:51
- demo Linux Windows Aurora by Excess [web]
- i like that you got bunch primitive objects to look interesting and keep the viewers interest up through out the demo, but i was hoping for a killer scene but didn't get it. a bit different type of excess demo, so cool cool!

- demo Windows sp04 - Echo Chamber by Spacepigs [web]
- i think kevin was a much more entertaining production and easier to follow. some of the practical jokes this demo pulled off were cool.

- demo Windows block one by Fairlight [web] & Cocoon [web]
- cocoon repeats their own effects from previous productions too much.
we've seen very similar feeling city scenes already two times before in cocoon releases but they always feel kind of pointless to be honest and more than couple of demos where raymarching effects bleed out of walls. end result simply feels unsupricing when you're not giving the viewer something new.
i think others have pointed out before as well that many cocoon demos in recent years had a very specific looking color scheme and material look, and that this kind of getting old. i don't think that it's old but i think it has always looked over processed where the end result feels like it's either trying to hide some artifacts of the rendering and/or the artists are not confident that the scene is moody enough. - isokadded on the 2018-04-03 02:31:10
