- demo MS-Dos BB final by AA-Group [web]
- As it clearly states, this is actually originally a linux demo and is in fact bundled with (at least) Knoppix 3.2 and 3.3. But it's portable :-)
The beginning is very Matrixish, and in a good way. And then it becomes just plain cool. - rulezadded on the 2004-01-03 02:12:46

- Excellent and unusual music, and on a fast machine not only is it smooth, but I can see the last part of the flyby sequences. I wish they'd removed the popping excuses-for-drums from the soundtrack, but other than that it's amazing. I've watched it at least thirty times since I first downloaded it in 2001, and it's still worth seeing again.

- I suppose this is to make up for all the superlarge intros in the intro category?
Someone should move this to the 1k intro category - isokadded on the 2004-01-01 19:23:14
- game Windows Pekka Kana 2 by Piste Gamez [web]
- I can't get through the 7th level either, and my little brothers are getting irritated at my lack of dexterity...
They want to know if anyone's finished the last part of Episode 2, though - isokadded on the 2004-01-01 19:21:42
- demo Windows World of Vodka by Fairlight [web]
- The music is good, though I agree it's only marginally fitting for this demo. Maybe if you changed the instruments but left the melody the same?

- Very very very nice! A great story, cool effects, great textures, spooky atmosphere. Has the same general sort of feel as Kasparov by Elitegroup imho.
I thought the music fit well (except for the lead in the citypart- would have liked a less 'chiptune'-like lead).
Since talk is cheap, I'll offer a few suggestions for the final:
*Do something about that loading time.
*Connect the armrests of the chair to the rest of the chair, at the very least.
*Could you at least make the ground under the buildings in the city black?
* Imho when you see the city at the end of the credits, the lights should be out... then you turn them all back on on the very last note. (okay, this is a silly one)
Oh, and plek, take a look at .the .product if you want to see really awful looking trees. These are way better. - rulezadded on the 2003-12-31 03:08:23
- demo Windows fr-036: zeitmaschine by Farbrausch [web]
- Well, I can appreciate the work that went into this (and that it has a 16x10 mode for my laptop! Yay, now two demos that take advantage of widescreen!) but it's not my thing. It's very German übertechnoish. And what's with the German colorscheme: Black, blue, red and purple? Whee! All in all pigface.

- demo Windows the planet - the universe, part 2 by mfx [web]
- Geforce 4 Ti 4400 (or was it Go?) in my widescreen laptop.
On second watching, this might be the sort of 'ooh shiny' videos we need at the Villanova astronomy department, to replace all those dumb ones that sound like that audio clip, or that show irrationally happy scientists talking about the really boring aspects...

- Better than part 1, more content per megabyte too.
I only wish you'd have done something cool like flying through the atmosphere of the planet, or something with its moons, or done something about the fugly 256-color-esque rings and stuff. Seriously, it looked like it was 8 or 16 bit color, and that threw off the coolness factor. - rulezadded on the 2003-12-30 20:33:07
