- 40k Amiga OCS/ECS irregular by Zenith
- i'd suggest you add amigascne.org links in the first place. links to common archive servers tend to be more stable than some dude's account on some k-rad hosting server.

- ok boys and girls, download link updated - this zip contains both the compo version and a fixed version (still not quite final). leech away.
the zip on the breakpoint ftp servers is still the wrong one, we're getting that fixed. so use scene.org. - isokadded on the 2005-04-03 17:29:20
- 64k Windows death and taxes by Fairlight [web]
- dabb, you're a moron.
1) the exe is called flt_deathandtaxes_NOTWORKINGREALLYATALL.exe
2) the exe is 87kb
-> this isn't the compo version. this is a pre-version that got spread by mistake, since we handed the compo version in so late that ryg forgot to add it into the party system. - isokadded on the 2005-04-03 16:41:15

None right here is able to _produce_ anything.
dear darkindesign, umm... who the FUCK are YOU?
Quote:You don't love it ? I don't care : I will never listen to you any more, you are lazy, bad for hugi and are never happy.
dear ep, by any chance, could the reason why people are never happy be that hugi is never good? i'm suspecting most people don't just thumb this down because it's hugi, but are capable of judging it as a production. if you want to continue writing articles with absurd conclusions and insane suggestions, not to mention bad writing style and apparently no proofreading, be my guest. chances are, you'll keep getting thumbed down as well.
it takes some skill to find the point in people's negative comments instead of just bypassing them as flaming. for example ps's big ass post earlier had a lot of good points - i'm guessing you didn't even read it.
Quote:you don't have spent the 100 hours I spent and the hours others at hugi staff have spent too. You ignore the work behind
see, the problem is... if it sucks, why spend 100 hours on it?
Quote:Why is nobody discussing issues of Pain, while the whole world is discussing about Hugi issues?
dear adok, one thing about the so called "real world" (you're welcome to visit it some time) is that people tend to comment on the bad stuff more than the good stuff. if something's good it doesn't need to be talked about forever, you can just enjoy the production or whatever and maybe leave a comment saying it's good. you should also know that criticism is much more useful for the author than praising comments. that's probably why i'm more eager to comment on something that needs to be worked on from my point of view, than on something that's awesome - there's not really much to say in the latter case, is there? i'm not saying pain is perfect, but in most cases it's good enough. in hugi's case i can just wonder how it's possible that e.g. even the icing on the cake like music and graphics suck in every issue. i can understand if you can't get credible writers, but the more common scene professions shouldn't be THIS much of a problem.
of course, if you agree with EP that hugi is right and everyone else is wrong, then you can just bypass the criticism and continue doing what you do. just tell EP not to act so surprised next time.
Quote:Regarding EP, it seems that he has managed to put a mirror in front of many sceners.
are you somehow suggesting that EP's articles have caused introspection in the readers who don't like what they see in the mirror? no, see... to continue on your path of metaphors, i really think you're that blind guy in the woods trying to find your way out, with people offering to help you. unfortunately, you think they're wrong and actually don't know the way out, but there's no one else around to help either, so you'll just end up being a blind guy in the woods. now, the big question is, if a tree falls in the woods and hits the lonely blind guy, does anyone care? - sucksadded on the 2005-02-05 13:14:25
