- demo Amiga AGA C42 by Juliet+Case
- Whoa nice! Reminds me of some early black dog stuff and warp records videos.

- Kinda cool mixed bag for it's age but doesn't push my buttons nearly enough. Very cool shading on the 5-gon torus though.

- 40k Amiga AGA Fad by Sonik Clique [web]
- I'm torn... the design is mostly good, but some screens clearly try to adhere a more archaic styles that the scene was trying to transition out of. Music isn't something to write home about either, but at least I get the idea of it; certainly would've been better given a proper sample quality and etc. Mild thumbs up I guess.

- demo MS-Dos Second Reality by Future Crew
- Certainly one of the best demos on PC in its day. Of course amiga had the upper hand as far graphics and design went, but this was one of the first really competent counterparts. I really don't understand how this is still (or at least was for a long time) the "best pc demo" in so many people's minds, just fast-forward two years ahead and there was immensly more maturity by then already. A lot of ugly parts here too; the plasma cube? rotozoomer? the particle cloud? And of course everything just presented on an empty black backgrounds without any sort of overarching design.
Far from hopeless though, the plasma after the rotozoomer especially with that part in the soundtrack is still something I do adore, wonderful melody and harmony. The soundtrack's pretty damn cheesy. PM did far, FAR better tracks. Apart from the cheesy instruments, the orchestral stuff by Skaven especially in the end is quite alright. Overall a fine piece of memorabilia from a simpler era. - rulezadded on the 2015-02-19 19:18:16

- demo MS-Dos/gus pyy by Kooma & Doomsday
- A bit barren for the most part but a lot of cool koomaism too. Fucking fantastic soundtrack. I agree about the man-bitmaps as well though...
