• Wow, this is amazing! I was actually thinking about doing something similar for ZX Spectrum's AY chip, but never got to a serious stage.
  
  It would actually be nice if you could do a brief write-up about what you've done to achieve this and also what corners had to be cut :)

• A bit slow to start and little bit too monotonous too. However, it all becomes irrelevant at some point because the text is *hilarious*. Simply excellent.
  Also, very nice emulated text-mode (we do not have any text modes on Spectrum, esp. at this resolution, you know).

• I thought about implementing one of these 8-bit music generators one day, although I did not think to do it using GS. It sounds familiar; did you port one of the known generators or did you improvised with something similar to one of them?
