• 256b MS-Dos Fallback Plan by Ümlaüt Design [web]
• adding missing thumb - somehow I did not send it last time

• demo Windows Three Fourth by Dimness
• Should have won, IMHO. Still it could use some baked AO and few less bugs (like smart_ptr crash after picking 1280x1024), but it's nice overall.

• demo Windows Megademo 1 by Hard Coders
• Group name explains it all. ;) You've got nice spheretracer, but haven't used it right (see Heaven 7 for example of how to do things). Leaving a piggy for nice music and good effort of submitting a prod.

• 4k Windows quantum flame by DMA [web]
• BiTL: Google for "fractal flame".

As for rendering speed - these are flame fractals, so if anybody can get Apophysis to run them faster with comparable quality - respect (I should be able to extract fractal coeffs from the intro). ;)

(prod left with piggy, cause voting for oneself isn't cool)

• demo Windows dobranocka by Amnesty
• This was OKish, but Amnesty was unfortunate enough to get their wild/animation played last in anim compo and their demo played first in demo compo which was next at the party, so we've got like 10 minutes straight of Amnesty visuals.

Also - if you have to use additive blending, consider ONE/INVSRCCOLOR combo instead of 1/1. It's just like the additive, but doesn't clamp hard to white (unless that was just what you wanted).

• Thumbs up for this intro. I would put extra one for what DJ Gargaj did at the party, but this system clearly doesn't support voting for such things. ;)

btw. Gargaj, I've checked my schedule and it seems I actually have no excuse not to be at Function. ;)
