• Crab's tube scrollers still interest, and Titan (Uncle Tom) made melodic, harmonic, happy ST-01 tracks. Awesome time with the best of memories. :)

• Nice gfx, partly yucky, partly nostalgic music, both inspired by current games. Not a demo really, despite the single starfield effect. Something needed to happen to make me like it, but instead it taxes one's patience more than anything. :P

• Slow vectors, and repetitive and relying on scroll-reading which doesn't help patience. 4042 rulez but the demo needed something extra. But the music is quite good, and I liked the Martini transforming into a tie fighter. :)

• Wanting to be an 'Enigma-beater' here and there, it kinda does too, but has some shadebob and vector effects of its own. I like it because of the more demoish packaging - reminds of Stellar intros and Hardwired. It has a layered cube scene, is it a first?
  
  Starts out quite lame tho, you have to trust it. ;) Solid production.

  So we were both doing precalc sine scaling and chessboard gen in the early days.
  
  But scroller matching chessboard means both used subpixel mapping, and I didn't have that properly until Hacking Away end of '89.

• I'm with Spaceballs and TBL on this point, the only way most sceners will buy it is by trying to make the fake scenes look like they're about some thing (no matter how vague). Just a monochrome palette seems to be enough subject matter, as long as the music is demoish.
  
  To make up for other lacks though, the music has to be good. And that's not the case here.
