- Very nice visuals, with flashing done right, and you nailed the look of the laser beam, but the demo feels repetitive.

- This is a really beautiful, beautiful demo. Nothing jaw dropping on the technical side (although that water surface is really well done), but a creation that I really connect to, like I did with 1995.
It's also a demo with an excellent direction, supported by near perfect transitions and perfectly fitting soundtrack. It knows what it wants to be, and nails it. The virtual cable part, with the starry medium and bits of polygons flying is completely my thing, and the transition to the attractor was just gorgeous.
Maybe a few elements could have been polished a tiny bit more (like the transition to the infinite eye), but I imagine how much work was already poured into this, so that's understandable.
I was a bit surprised to discover when running the demo that there were parts I enjoyed more on the stream: the encoding added a bit of blurriness and hue shift that I thought was intentional and worked well, but in the actual demo it turned out to be sharp lines, which broke the illusion of being in a Vectrex world. Still, I'm very much nitpicking here.
Thank you for this piece. - rulezadded on the 2020-04-14 01:11:59
