- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Psycode by Cinefex Design
- More like OCS stuff.. And not a very unknown group either. But not bad.

- I actually liked it up until the zeppelin part. Even the music was refreshingly different at first. But the rest.. Argh! But the "art" screen made me laugh out loud, so how could I thumb this down? :)

- Good gfx also from Block, Hansie, Jef, Tomcat and Vimme (font ripped from RAW). But the damn great tune by Omega is what really made me like this one. That, and the catchy fullscreen slogans upon start/quit, of course. :)
Anyway, this is probably my favourite invitation of all time. I was so excited reading the infos when it came out, and I remember being SO pissed off when I wasn't able to attend the party.. - rulezadded on the 2005-08-15 18:45:20
- 64k Windows The Piece by Mainloop [web]
- Looked promising, but then froze up my entire machine after the graffiti textwriter said "masters". Radeon 9800 Pro 128mb with latest Catalyst drivers..

- demo Windows blockbuster by Outracks [web]
- Too little content, too much repetition, some scenes seemed a bit too slow for what was shown.. But apart from those issues, a good show indeed

- Skope: Looks like the linked DMS packages have one disk split into two parts. Why someone would do such a lame thing is beyond me.

- I love packs, but this series sucked. Awful menu, old stuff, same releases packed on several packs.

- Seriously, if people are serious about sticking to a term like "oldskool", let alone arguing about it, there should at least be some consensus on what it actually means. So far I've seen 3 uses:
1) Productions made in a style which makes them look like old stuff
2) Productions made with old hardware
3) Old productions (the most incomprehensible use for the term, since something which was cutting edge in 1988 is in NO way "oldskool" even 1000 years from now)
Now which one is it? It can't be all of the above, or even two of them. If you need to be explained why, consider going back to your "skool" and paying attention to the teachers.
Sorry about the offtopic crap, I know this belongs in the BBS.. But since you opened the can of worms I couldn't resist to take the bait. - isokadded on the 2005-08-08 11:06:48

- I hope 2006 will be the year when the use of incredibly stupid terms like "oldskool" will be declared punishable by death. Not a bad intro though, the logo rocks. Too bad about the buggy music replay and too short scrolltext. Then again, I guess crackers can't really risk revealing much these days :)
