Many effects in this prod use a 1900s era French technique called "Ombro Cinema". Also called "Scanimation" or "Shadow Theatre".

- very cool. Is the cube a frame based animation using tiles mode or real 3D rotation then mapped to best fit 3 color tile? I would like to implement this same technique for another tiles-mode only platform. Any tips?
