  Yes, most of the filesize is the GS soundtrack... the AY-only copy I made for presentation was 47K. (Somehow I don't think the jury and AV crews would have enjoyed waiting 30 minutes for it to load from tape...). The only precalc in the entire demo is the mandelbrot data (approx 20K unpacked), and that's NOT a simple animation either.

• Nicely demonstrates the big weakness with the ASM mobile compo - everyone completely underestimated the capabilities of the TI, and overrated some mediocre prods. You can emulate a Spectrum on it, for fuck's sake... guess I should have abandoned the oldskool compo and trounced everyone in this one instead.

• The concept for this didn't really work out (fx ended up too slow) but it's significant for being (I think) the only demo ever to have multicolours fixed for both original Speccy and Russian clones. But you managed to get them wrong on the screenshot anyway ;-)

• Didn't really strike me - it'd have to be something really special to stand out from Real Reality, because the genius of that production was the originality of it all (and now I wait for someone to prove me wrong...)
  Now, if the soundtrack had been done in barbershop-style harmony, *that* would have impressed me :-) (The musical finale did crack me up though, and I'm not even Spanish!)

• More colourful than the pavement outside a nightclub at 3am :-) Great to see a full-scale 'technical' demo from guys who actually have a sense of what looks (and sounds) good.
