- Puterman. Ok, I more or less agree with you now. I didn't meant to sound aggressive at all, more like sarcastic... Direct attempts to offend someone's feelings it's just not my way of communication.
The higher power, yes... Let me explain. I'm not the only one who feel the sence of an ultimate superiority in most of the comments of a certain C64 scene inner circle. And believe me, I'm not a sensitive guy. No, I'm not saying you shold pet everyone's head from now on, but just as Nightlord said, I don't think I was more aggressive than you many times, in any way. On the other hand it wasn't even you who reacted to my first post.
An objective negative comment, read: constructive criticism is one thing, yet a despised phlegmatic remark to a hard work of other people, is another. - isokadded on the 2004-06-10 13:21:16

- Puterman. How do you know that Oswald didn't had anything to say? As far as I am awared, this demo reflects really deep personal feelings.
I don't know why do I have to re-analyze my first post. By "a demo like this one" I mean a mix of motive (or concept, storyline, whatever) and kind of effects, which may be unnaceptable for some of the people on the scene who are obviously led by some kind of a higher power we don't tend to understand, yet highly aknowledged by people who don't look on demos and C64 products like you... Clear enough?
And why are you two keeping up with this hard work appreciating thingie? Okay, okay, I get it. Look, I prefer the hard work above all, you don't. Have I ever mentioned by a single word that you have to think like me from now on? Or should I have to think like you? No? I thought so. So please, explain to me, what's the friggin' trouble?
Once again, please read my words. I wasn't blaming _any_ of you for not thumbing up this demo, so I didn't realised Hollowman's rection to my opinion, at the first place.

- Thank you.
Not truly understanding an action doesn't expells one's predictabilty. Look, I said to Oswald that I know what will the concept-lobby's comment be to a demo like this one. I could even bet on it. So what. If you felt like adressed, I can't help. I have never mentioned your handle.
And absolutely, your thumb rules are your own business, I just compared your comments, the products you have commented and drew a very personal conclusion about your thumbings up and down. Then again, only you know the reasons of your actions, which I can't get, that's it. Fact: the concept-lobby's sudden aversions and delimiting from demos like this one is still predictable.
To your second paragraph. I'm currently helping Resource with retouching images for their demo, and it's no secret that I was retouching graphics dozens of times before (although only for demo usage), so I don't see why is my thumb up oh so unpredictable. Man, I appreciate the hard work and the time which was put into this demo, what a blasphemy right? Gosh, and I was even so rotten to express that here! A deadly sin, I agree.
Nevertheless, I like to lick Oswald's ass as well, as you know, we work together at the moment.
Your turn.

- And all I can do now is shake my head left to right and sigh...
Hollowman. Naturally, our personal view on "quality" differs, I don't blame you and your thumbing attitude, nor anyone else for not sharing my opinion. All I said that some of you are very predictable, plus I stated my view. You took the hint, voila! I can wash my hands from now on.
None the less, you probably also had your very own reasons, unknown to me though, when thumbing up Macho Programming by Triad and Motivation by Wrath Design, right? As they were so innovative and full of fresh ideas, yes? I neither seem to get some of your actions, but as always, you'll have some kind of a juicy explanation to break my word. Okay then, treat me fast, and we're set. - isokadded on the 2004-06-09 13:20:53

- Almost a year ago, when Oswald came up with an idea about putting lyrics and/or concept into a hard-core tehnical demo (not this one, though), I exactly told him what will be the reaction of the C64 scene's concept-lobby. And almost word-by-word, he can read it on Pouet now.
So I just hope that the creators of the demo (especially Oswald) won't regret the heavy weight work which was put in this demo.
First, I consider the knowledge. Second, I consider the quality. Third, I consider the time. Fourth, I consider the effort. Last AND least, I consider the concept. Four out of five, not bad. Thumb up.
Sorry in advance, I'm goin' offtopic for two sentences:

- This demo is really interesting. A kind of trivial motive, but it is done more than well if I consider the platform it was made on.
