- @MRC: This case was solved long time ago! So good morning to you too.
But to make two points clear:
1.) I am not going against somebody. I am saying my opinion... Nothing more! If I would be going against you I wouldn't need to hide this situation behind paltry excuses.
2.) You have to accept that not everything will be taken positive. Therefore it is not very kind to tell that people who don't like your prods are simply not knowing how much hard work has been into your prod.
Grow alongside negative criticism and get better - thats all I can say! - isokadded on the 2006-02-01 08:50:26

- No. Finally YOU (!) have won respect.
Concerning the routine. Why haven't you send a credit towards Raz? Why did you steal it 1:1? This is not fair in concern of the work Raz has put into it. If you understood the routine you have seen the pretty tricks it contains and it should give you a figure about how long he took for this stuff. And another thing: Copying a technique is ok, using some code also (Even common today). But taking something 1:1 ? Sorry... Atleast a credit.
You said it right. No, the scene is not only for cracks. But hey... Take pride in what you do and keep atleast something of the high quality spirit of the past. And respect other works (..and don't steal them - plain and simple said!).
About tools: I hate to say it.. You are right here. There is nothing speaking against, with the slight exception that demos become less and less code if this gets common in a wider approach. And this is - yeah - creative.. But not as creative as the offsprings. And you can't really talk about oldskool here or ? Whatever that is, by the way...
My respect for you and your expression.
Also a nice day..
Middy

- @TMA: Helping what? Uh huh... Just give me a break!!! you are helping the C64 scene with releasing ripped code and using Werkzeug by Farbrausch!
I guess people will be so happy with you!
Great. I guess that's really the BEST help a scene can get. I guess everyone has been waiting for you and will run for your mighty profile. Wait! Give me another break! Do you take yourself serious?
You are asking ME for references? I don't think I have to exculpate myself. It's you coming down from the hole, where I hope you will crawl back into.
Btw. It's inactive - In case you are searching for the right key. And before I share my time with ripping routines and starting looking like you I will rather take a direct bow around this "SCENE" you are part in. - isokadded on the 2006-01-31 13:36:31
