- demo Commodore 64 Natural Wonders 2 by Oxyron [web]
- My only complaint is about the tunnel effect which I thought was pretty ugly. Other than that this is top notch stuff. I really liked the music and the image transitions.

- I'm still waiting for the lolcode port of Desert Dream.

- demo Commodore 64 Edge of Disgrace by Booze Design
- I can't really rate this on a technical level since I'm not familiar enough with the c64. But it's a great demo regardless of platform; it has a good and coherent design, beatutful pixelwork and a nice soundtrack.

- demo Linux Windows KARAT3D+ by Byterapers [web]
- I liked the monitor, and the water looks nice. But it goes on for too long with just the same stuff over and over. Piggie it is.

- 256b MS-Dos Thinner by Mic
- I decided to implement the same effect (more or less) as a pixel shader in GLSL: win32 executable and source
And I also made some ports for other systems:
GBA port
SEGA 32X port
SEGA Saturn port

- @Tigrou: You could always write a new JITC-based emulator specifically for 256B demos that supports only a small subset of DOS/VGA :)

- @El Topo: I just do a RET, not the "exit to DOS" interrupt. It exits properly in one version of DOSBox, but just goes back to text mode in another.
@Tigrou: I don't see the point of that, unless I was using some quirky feature that DOSBox doesn't support, which I'm not. - isokadded on the 2008-10-06 13:04:15
