- demo Windows Shad 3 by Cocoon [web]
- never mind "could have won assembly", it could (should?) have won bp.

- 64k invitation Windows Invoke by Still [web] & Conspiracy [web]
- why is it that recent still productions all seem to have a sub-glacial framerate on all my machines? i missed the compo, and here im getting literally 1fps (on a 7800). is there some certain driver version i need?

- this is the most appallingly unfinished thing i've worked on in ages (and ive done a lot of those. ;) ). the compo team knows how late we were - huge thanks to them for allowing us in at all.
anyway, we're basically going to remake a lot of this over the next two weeks, so take this as an early preview version and wait for the "real thing" to come along later. :) - isokadded on the 2008-03-25 10:14:01
- 64k Windows pahorek by CLRSRC [web]
- at the time i might have thought "technically not much, a bit empty and repetitive" - but on retrospect, it's great. just goes to show how true "less is more" is: it's better to make something that actually looks really good, than try and overstretch and fall flat.

- waffle: the data format is something along the lines of a bastardised compressed binary version of an svg file. it's compressed for a reason - so the mag size doesnt bloat to 5x what it is right now. :)
i can probably give you the details of the format if you're actually serious about doing something with it, though. - isokadded on the 2008-03-02 11:33:54

- the fonts are included in the datafile.
gargaj, you could be right about the 32 bit index buffers - makes sense, the images dont use an indexbuffer. if i can get some betatesters, we'll try and fix it.
btw, my email is pretty easy to find, just check any flt info file. or leave a message with the brainstorm guys at their site. :) - isokadded on the 2008-03-01 14:11:11

- if anyone is having problems running it, drop me a mail.
we tested it pretty widely on a large range of configs (including some low end intel integrated cards, fx5-series cards and so on) and havent had any problems, so it should work pretty much everywhere, unless your card really is ancient. :) - isokadded on the 2008-02-29 15:12:06
- diskmag Windows Amiga PPC/RTG Hugi #34 - World of Scene by Hugi [web]
- well that was a surprise. an issue of hugi that actually had some good content and articles i was interested in reading, and interviews by magic that had some halfway sensible questions.
it's such a shame about the total horseshit filling the gaps, like ep's contributions. when you see such a lack of quality control in a mag it makes you think the editors just succeeded by dumb luck, not by actual skill.
miles better than the previous few issues, anyway. - isokadded on the 2008-02-23 14:33:10
