  What's so difficult about rendering a generic static mesh that is not even procedurally generated?
  Why I should be impressed by this?
  But to be fair - particle flow scene was a nice touch.
  Overall, not so bad. I dig this kind of oldschool vibe, keep it up. 6/10

  Otherwise - I would prefer it to be 64k ;) Landscape looks really cool, but I'm not sure how much of this is actually procedural.

• Something doesn't really work here. As gaspode usually delivers great stuff, this was probably just his weak day. It happens. Just a piggy though.

• But... the other intro had "fire" !
  This one wins with better music and photorealistic touch.
  
  Moreover, I also really like the concept of themed challenge. Maybe there should be a separate compo for it, say every year different "theme" (ala Ludum Dare) for small intros, so even more people can participate (besides the usual free-style compo of course).

• A bag of publicly available resources used in an interesting way.
  
  (spoiler alert) I loved the island/water scene near the end.

• Nice change from ray-marching. I also dig the "story" and Kafkaesque mood.

• Works quite fast and smooth for me.
  Really good job = clean rendering, interesting scenes, impressive length*variation. Maybe "Metallic" was a bit better, but this one still deserves a thumb!
