 - You could at least have made the individiual sections available for separate downloads or even browsable online, think of the modem users. There are some nice stuff in this pack but it doesn't qualify for a rulez.
Phoenix: I don't see any 16 second 61mb clips in that pack, but there is a 67mb tune that is close to 40 minutes. - isokadded on the 2004-01-06 08:16:48

 - demo Dreamcast Reverie by Cryptic Allusion [web]
 - Well, i don't have a dreamcast personally but judging by the screenshots on the download url it doesn't look like much. I guess i have to wait to thumb it until i have the chance to see it.

 - 64k Windows Point Blank by Stockholm Syndrome [web]
 - Ok, i ran it on my dad's computer (p3-500 with gf2mx) and it was slow as hell during the dof/blur-scenes, but it did look sweet as hell.
I'm looking forward to a fix to make it run on my Radeon so i can watch it in full speed. Anyway, here's a well deserved thumb. - rulezadded on the 2004-01-01 03:41:43
 - demo Windows fr-036: zeitmaschine by Farbrausch [web]
 - nytrik: well, my comment of this demo is further up in this thread. What's good looking and not is clearly a subjective matter and pleasing everybody is not an easy (if not an impossible) task, but farb-rausch usually manages to please the better half of the crowd and they have good hardware compatibility.
If you checked the poll at scene.org some time ago that asked what graphic cards people use/intend to get, ATI got 59.1% while NVIDIA only got 37.6% so I find it somewhat ignorant to release stuff that only works on NVIDIA-cards, and even more disturbing that they don't even care to fix it for the final. If people want to use shader-stuff in their demos, they should atleast make it work on all cards that support it. - isokadded on the 2003-12-31 16:43:04

Well, here's a thumb for that attitude. - sucksadded on the 2003-12-31 15:10:07

 - The visuals are good but i found the music to be somewhat unfitting to the demo, the disney-font was cute though ;)
