- demo Windows energia by Sunflower [web]
- This stood out even though the asm01 compo was of superb quality.
Beautiful and unique effects that need to be really looked at to fully appreciate. A perfect soundtrack with Crankshaft managing to mix Rinneradio's Helsinki in a way that I even find superior to the original.
Demos like these make sifting thru all the average stuff worthwile. - rulezadded on the 2005-10-03 13:39:13
- demo Linux Windows MacOSX PPC VARIFORM by Kewlers [web]
- Seeing it for the first time on the big screen was an absolute blast, First appearance of the glow utilised to this diamond-like impression and it's beautiful. Still my favourite from kewlers. Nothing from them has made a comparable impression since even though I have high regard for lots of their stuff.

- demo Linux Windows Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation by Ananasmurska [web]
- Pretty nice. Could've been great.

- demo Windows herbst 77 by kolor [web]
- Maybe being able to read the message would make this better but design-wise I see a lot of text and the effects make no impression on me. They look exactly like someone has just played around a bit with their dog-slow plugin architecture. Not really good-looking effects.
I appreciate the idea but Complex's Rebel (As Percieved?) is a lot better politically-themed demo. - sucksadded on the 2005-10-01 12:14:57
- demo Windows Incoming Future by Gods [web]
- What bhead said. I remember being impressed by this, now it is just an ugly flyby featuring ripped music from major artists. Some of the artwork's always was a little rough, even by 1998 standards. Nothing interesting.

- demo Windows fr-021: D (Stands For) by Farbrausch [web]
- I just can't believe how low this is rated. I love this demo and it broke my heart to see it dropped down to 11th at the party. One of the best from farb-rausch.
All the scenes are really well thought out and this oozes quality. I like the anti-war theme and the saddening atmosphere. The only complaint I have is that this looks very much like it's done by a graphics guy with a ready demo engine - no custom crafted effects.
Visualize is just... impressive. - rulezadded on the 2005-09-30 20:41:34
- demo Windows MOPED by Mayoneez And The Boys [web]
- Not much of a demo or art for that matter. Had it been up to me only, this one wouldn't have even qualified to be shown on the screen. Physics engine shown off badly.

- demo Windows medium by Einklang.net [web]
- Pretty nice stuff, the music is too repetitive and the demo too long though.

- demo MS-Dos 73 Million Seconds by Pulse [web]
- One of my all-time favourites also. Time ceases to exist.

- demo Windows Barn by The Digital Artists [web]
- Amazing show of how much you can do with so little. All you need is inspiration. Like others have noted it could be even better without ripped music.
