- Brilliant lighting, and nice to see some solid geometry again, but the rest was a bit meh.

- Would win the Demo Remake Compo and the Most Ballsy Content Reuse In Another Compo Compo fur sure, if those existed ;)
Apart form that I'm a bit torn. Call me a philistine but I never got Nexus 7's appeal in the first place compared to a lot of other Amiga demos of the time so this remake left me pretty cold - on the other hand I can only respect the attention to detail and the sheer amount of content you managed to squeeze into 8K. So yay :) - rulezadded on the 2016-03-30 21:54:32
- 8k Windows Bette Davis by Tristar & Red Sector Inc. [web]
- Would probably have thumbed it up some years ago, but especially with all the prods at Revision that put so much effort into their look I'm kind of sick and tired with the default shiny raymarched look. Piggy it is.

- I've been writing "what cupe said" way too often in the last few hours so I'll repeat it verbatim: Zoom, you're a fucking wizard.

- 64k Windows fermi paradox by Mercury [web]
- Most stuff has already been said - this intro is so well thought out and polished it's not even funny anymore. Finally the great tech that Mercury (and that other group) always have had comes to shine, and marvelously it does.
Only sour point for me is the soundtrack - comparisons to MFX' Universe series have already been drawn, and I must say as a long time fan of that series the music here let me down, both in the harmony and spaciousness (or spacyness) department. But that's only a small nitpick and doesn't take away from the total awesomeness. :) - rulezadded on the 2016-03-30 20:53:30

- ... or a third or fourth take, or actually a few days of practice. Piggy because it didn't do anything for me but it's a promising direction if you're willing to put more effort into it.

- Thumb up for the soundtrack. Well produced industrial/harsh music can fire off the nastiest noise but doesn't actually make your ears bleed, and you pulled that off nicely. During the compo my Pull Down The Volume Because OMG Aaaargh finger firmly rested on the mixer and didn't even twitch. :)

- Piggie, because Cupe (and rimina's comment to Instant God) pretty much nailed it. Stuff's not black and white people - a nude woman by itself doesn't make a production sexist, it's very much the context in which she's presented. And here you can pretty much hear the camera guy drooling, and as much as I'd like to second Ronny's "Robospack" comment, those dancing scenes were more like "so fucked up on drugs she won't remember anyway". Actually making the animation even worse would really have helped.
