- demo Amiga AGA when we ride on our enemies by Skarla
- Hehe, I never realized Essence became Skarla. I even see similar 3d objects reused from older demos :)

- demo Windows The nonstop Ibiza experience by orange
- I said then it was slow, now on 512x384 on computers at the time, with billenear filtered and blended effects, they did an effort compared to some random 320x240 soft demo in modern PCs. We could be doing HD soft rendering now.

- demo MS-Dos/gus x14 by orange
- Never was big fun of this scan-line fake mode in some demos. However I see that historically that must be the first one to do it? I do rewatch it and I see either scanline effects or lowres blocky, not liking the looks of it enough, however the music is good.

- demo Amiga AGA thuglife by Essence [web]
- That's my go to demo to prove more can be done on early 32bit. Like, from my understanding a 68030 is closer to 386. Plus the fact you have to do it with bitplanes in mind harder than VGA chunky pixel. And yet the size and shading of these 3d objects and scenes are more of a 486 class than anything you would ever believe to see in 386. That would be a good demo for 486 or Pentium 1.
p.s. Sometimes I wake up and say "THUG LIFE man!!!" before coding for DOS PCs :) - isokadded on the 2024-09-10 10:20:14
- demo Wild Second Reality X16
- It's really cool port. Some of the parts look really close to the original and the audio is great. Only that voxel plasma parts is replaced by a very bad wavy sea sinus part.
So, what's that hardware made off? How does it compare? Is there some GPU also helping with some parts, like that Vera mentioned? - rulezadded on the 2024-09-09 00:28:03
- demo MS-Dos/gus Bugfixed by Acme
- Fast paced music, timing and effects rule. Although on my AMD 486DX/133 with PicoGUS, something went off with the timing and the gouraud wavey thing froze like hell and then some parts skipped or ended up too fast. Will try to watch later in other machines.

- 64k MS-Dos Smoke Yellow Weed by Acme
- Pretty fast paced and fun

- demo MS-Dos/gus Dead on Arrival by Acme
- Lovely again, music and some cool stuff for 386 like gouraud z-buffer. Love the flat shaded 3d world for nostalgia.
Wonder though why greetings part was this awful tiny zoom font, while previously you could do texture mapping and there was a big sphere map before exactly at the size of the crystal ball graphics, maybe they were planning to do sphere map of greetings but no time or code failed, but they still have to do something for the greetings last time? - rulezadded on the 2024-09-07 13:25:54
- intro MS-Dos Mental Masturbation by Acme
- Nice again

- 32k MS-Dos Peace by Acme
- I remember that one, very basic effects but really good design of the screen
