- I was makin an organic Ragu sandwich today and thinkin about what me and my teammate ratt were talking about, pushing the demo's to new levels, and trying to conform to what a demo should be...and i started to realize that i'm not having fun coding these anymore, it was fun untill i started to try to impress other people... it used to be, me and him would just set around and code stuff like single effects and chat about how they worked.... then i got thet idea to start making demo's for the scene, sinse i've been watching demo's and loosely following the scene for about 2 years... so we came with a name for the team, and sinse were coding these in freebasic, we decided on fbfusion... the real dutch thing is just a joke, cause i like And One alot.... anyhoo, it was all good, we submitted our first prod (fbf01) and the FB community loved it, pouet members hated it...wich for some reason bugged me a little....then we started working on the musicDisk, the original plan was that i write all the music for it, but i got so wrapped up in the code that i didnt have time for that... so about 2 days before release we realized we had no music set for it.... and we were passing around a pre-release for it at the time that had the songs you here now with it... we tried to contact about 4 artists to see if we could get somebody to knock together some tunes in such short notice, but we only got 2 answers back, and both indicated that they were quite buisy...so we just commited to the release date, polished up the pre-release and tossed it on here... then after seeing such a negative reaction, i started getting even more upset about it... but today i realize that i forgot why i'm putting these demo's up...I'm putting them up so that they wont set on my hdd, and eventually get deleted... weather you think there good or not, maybe somebody will think its neat or whatever... i shouldnt really care if its good or not, i should just go on and enjoy what i do best, coding.... and forget about wether or not people like what i'm doing.... as far as the ripped tunes goes, i knew in the back of my mind that it would be a no no, cause i've seen people get flamed for it before...so i cant say why i realeased a MD w/ ripped tunes, other than pure lazyness, and maybe a lack of foresight... if FB_Fusion comes out with another music disk...it will not have ripped tunes, so you dont have to worry about that... i definately learned a lesson about planning productions ;)

- also, we've set no release date for our next production (FBF03, we'll call it whatever we want) so maybe that'll give us enough time to do things in a less "rushed" mannor

- well, about the ripped tunes... i agree, and we sortof shot ourselves in the foot when we set a release date so soon, we did contact a few artists, but it was just to late to get anything going.... so in interest of meeting our goal for releasing it by this monday, we just picked some of our fav tunes and slapped em in there... i dont feel bad about it, its music thats widely available, and music that i enjoy listning to, and i figured a musicdisk w/ some good music would be neat as opposed to a musicdisk that came with no music at all..... everybody kept telling us that the kolors didnt work together, but so what
