- demo Windows fr-031: faded memories by Farbrausch [web]
- The placing makes me sad especially when there was D which also got similar treatment later. Beautiful, vic's great music and visualice's awesome visuals. Good looking effects even if they don't contain anything quite unique for fr. There is something very special about visudemos...

- demo MS-Dos Vivid Experiment by Doomsday
- Possibly the most funny dsd prod and cool as a serious effort too. :) I love the self-irony in the end. :)

- demo MS-Dos Lotto by Doomsday
- Just a bit of a laugh. Decently designed as well but far from deserving 4th especially considering what kind of demos were asm2k. Not the first time when voting gives idiotic results... Just a funny one for the archives but nothing special.

- demo MS-Dos Guggle me ! by Doomsday
- A nice non-serious prod that's bound to make you laugh. Check it out if you want to laugh a bit but don't expect anything mindblowing... :)

- demopack Wild MindCandy Volume 1: PC Demos by Hornet [web]
- I like it and have a copy obviously. Too bad that Megablast for example ain't complete... :P But I do agree with some other posters, it should be released for free as well as being available as a sleek pressed version, the content is all (c) by someone else anyway. Going to get vol2 as well.

- demo Windows Syncroniz by Filax
- It may have 10 parts but they're all rehashing the same damn two effects. It does look pretty nice if uninspired but that just isn't enough. The texts don't help either. Overall, I've seen much much worse and would urge the author to keep working but thumb down for now. :)

- demo MS-Dos Inside by Carillon & Cyberiad [web]
- Apart from the flyby which is totally out of place this is solid gold. Too bad cncd's done so few since inside's really one of the best demos of all time. Unusually strong design for it's time - indeed for any time. Rich coulours and beauty, all in glorious 8 bits but you'd never believe it.

- demo MS-Dos The Secret Life of Mr. Black by orange
- Nice surreal theme. The effects may not be much on paper but they're used to great effect and everything here is pure orange style. My orange favourite is megablast but this is fighting for the second with some others...

- demo Linux MS-Dos Windows Tribes by Pulse [web] & Melon [web]
- I can't say I ever really understood this demo type. It was the first time I ran into the story-style after hearing everyone raving about it and was left wondering. Sure, it has some beauty in it and it was a good effort technically for it's time too but there isn't much of a story or jaw-dropping effects here. Not downright bad but mostly for the Pulse-fans and storydemo-enthusiasts.

- demo MS-Dos Square by Pulse [web]
- I remember seeing this at the top of the charts (doose.dk anyone?) and I never really found it as beautiful as that was letting me expect. I do love some of the effects, the music and haplo's great graphics but never really got that... unreal feeling that the best of the best provoke in me. It's still good but for some reason doesn't quite touch me the way some other demos do.
