• Whoah! Thanks for the kind comment, Rhino, it means a lot! As stated in the NFO, no ridicule intended, on the contrary. While "mirroring" some of the original effects, my already substantial respect for BG grew some more. In the end, it was too silly a gag to let go (as usual, hehe).

  Code:0x9b "43m" - background color 3 (orange) 0x9b "0x" - set x origin at 0px 0x9b "0y" - set y origin at 0px 0x9b "4t" - 4 rows (which is >= window height with Topaz 8 or 9) 0x9b "8u" - 8 columns (>= window width) 0x9b "0 p" - cursor off 0x0c - form feed = clear (and fill with background color)
  
  
  plus the fact that Kickstart 1.x lets you overwrite the window borders with these origin/size values.

• @rloaderro That was actually the initial idea. I've read some threads on eab, it sounds like it should be possible, but so far, nobody seems to have actually tried it. I'm eager to find out some time. So, in a way, this is just a byproduct of some prototyping. :)
