- demo Windows outside by Ill
- I liked it and it is the first time a production with a noise-soundtrack worked for me. May be it is a little bit sad that there was no more time to explore the theme and the overall mood in some more detail. The 9th place is absolutely ridiculous anyway - may be it’s due to the missing screenshot or the changed ordering in the voting system.

- 4k procedural graphics Windows Sollbruchstelle by Laeila
- It is absolutely astonishing to see such a nice first(!!!) intro by a new scener – especially if it is a so young girl only form the 11th school-class. If we old man with an university degree in computer graphics, decades in the scene and years of work experience don’t come up with something much more impressive we don’t deserve to win! It is a shame to not read her much more encouraging comments. If we do not succeed in getting more such young talented people to into the scene BreakPoint 2019 will be bleak. This one got my “Rooltz” and it gets a thumb up – and as told you at BreakPoint I am really looking forward to see your next production.

- 4k Windows Photon Race 2 by Archee [web]
- That’s absolutely impressive - it looks so much better than Photon-Race 1, the camera moves, music and this all only a few days later. Thumb up!

- Great synth+tunes! This really raises the bar in 4k sound technology. Thumb up!

- Wow - soo many details, nice graphics and cool tunes. The first decent music disc for a very long time - probably the best :) Thanks to the whole crew! Thumb up!

- demo Windows Ferner by Still [web]
- I watched the compo online and since I missed the first part I didn't know whose entry is currently running. After a few moments some details with the 3D style remembered me very much in the LKCC/Bauknecht BSM 2004 invitation (Fern) - so I was pretty sure it must have been Pixtur's artwork. But then there were several new things: a more "floating" color-scheme, more amorphous diffuse visuals and a different sound track style. I hoped it so much but I was not totally sure that it is a Still demo - but indeed: it was one - a great one - I love it to see how their style is evolving with every new production. Thumb Up!!!

- demo Windows fr-055: 828 by Farbrausch [web]
- This is absolutely outstanding. I suppose it is one of – if not the – demo that comes really close to the very sense of the term “digital art” as it used outside the demoscene. I also immediately had Stanley Kubrick’s 2001/2010 in mind – clearly the sphere and the monolith are metaphors for the same thing. It seems to have this unbelievable amount of atmosphere, deepness, sense and meaning in every single frame and as in 2001/2010 you can feel that something important is happening – and since the you cannot immediately understand the meaning there is so much space to reflect and project your own emotions, feelings, fears and ideas into this space. Brilliant!

- 4k game JavaScript Breakout4k
- Ok, its 4k, its Java Script and it is a playable breakout game. But playing it is no fun at all. As soon as there is an updated version with more fun, better game balancing with faster ball, smaller paddle, much more (and bigger) falling bricks, fewer total hits to finish a level and may be some typical sound effects instead of this questionable non original “soundtrack” I will give a Thump up for sure. … and if removing the “copper bar” would make a laser possible – do it!

- 4k Windows parazonantikum by Calodox
- Nice 4k! It has its own look, some kind of ambient sound, some syncing as well as some nice details e.g. the thing between fog and dof. Thumb Up! On the other hand it is a bit static, the tune could have been cooler and the syncing feels a bit like if it was only a point on a checklist. All in all I suppose that you could have done something much more impressive with the same engine and the same overall design and concept.
