- demo Windows a digital Odyssey by Digital Angels
- either the demoscene is going seriously oldskool or we are getting an influx of coders who have not long finished reading through Denthor's Pascal tutorials. ;)
The effect in the screenshot is without doubt the star of the show, mainly 1 effect per scene, rarely intersected with a 3 effect scene.
Music is nice, but nothing to really go nuts about. - isokadded on the 2002-05-29 05:00:07
- demo Windows Rewind by Paranoid Productions [web]
- The first part sucked big time, the texture theming was appauling.
The credits section is galringly fake, yet in the very next scene a real tunnel is used...why?
The credits and the general subway section is much better and are the kind of things you should be doing more.
The greetz section was underwhelming, needs either more going on or a change of scene / camera / object at the least.
Try working on blending your camera changes with things like blurs, cross fades / plasma cross fade, things like that.
Oh, and drop the model, use a poser model if you have to, even that would be better than the robot. - isokadded on the 2002-05-29 04:51:01
- demo Windows Underground by Twilight
- Didn't get to see the end as I was interupted.
What I did see was a well done software mode demo.
The visuals matched perfectly to the effects, although the strobing sent me loopy for a few seconds before I adjusted to it.

- demo Windows Eternal by Flyin'Pig
- I think this might be arepost ;)
I remember this one from a while back.
The music is very much early amiga stuff, and the scene is very much empty.
Not a keeper by any stretch of the imagination. - sucksadded on the 2002-05-29 04:27:26
- demo Windows So Abstract World by Throb [web] & the|neonray [web]
- this prod is slightly buggy, but very much forgivable due to the actual content.
I love the music, very simple, yet effective when coupled with the code.
A step in the new direction. :-D - rulezadded on the 2002-05-29 03:55:36
- 64k Windows eastside works by Aardbei [web]
- This prod is nowhere near Aardbei's previous works, PTCT is far above this one IMO.
Also, the bassline for the music sounds very familiar, Tiga & Zyntherius - Sunglasses at night. - sucksadded on the 2002-05-22 21:22:59
- demo Linux Windows Amoeba by Excess [web]
- Really fun demo that serves no real purpose.

- 64k Windows discotheque by Deus Ex Machina [web]
- Really fast effects are let down by with everything else around it.
Showing already shown sequences again to stretch out a demo is not a good idea IMO.
As a showcase for your insanely fast effect routines, then it's cool, but taken in the context of a full blown demo, it just doesn't cut it.
Keep going :) - isokadded on the 2002-05-17 00:47:55
- demo Windows TheFa by Power Rangers
- As has already been said, this is a good enjoyable demo with no frills.
It leaves me dizzy after watching it!. - rulezadded on the 2002-01-17 22:00:21

- Hehe, stupid me! ;)
It was early in the morning when I wrote that, not enough coffee :p - isokadded on the 2002-01-17 21:57:49
