Thanks! And yes, that's the point =) The video chip has an "API" where you simply set some registers in order to get a polygon/line/circle/copy data or access VRAM. The CPU is basically spending most of its time giving commands to the video chip. The idea came to me when using the pico-8, I *loved* coding for a "fake" computer with a bult-in graphics API, but sadly the pico-8 lacks a CPU at all. - isokadded on the 2020-04-14 10:23:05
