• strange how C or plus on linux is considered something akin to "a demo on a different platform" than USA-DOS even if it runs on the same hardware.
  
  Once tried installing NASM (on linux)
  
  quit when i saw the assembler writes to the OS, not the machine ..
  
  whatever usaDOS can do on a 4090 linux can do too ... why would it not ?

  Still think its a shame none of the larger retro-groups with decades of xp ever try to tackle an ST and see what they come up with trying to best the stuff from overlanders or Dune or smfx or the likes ... "friendly competition aka : my birthday cards are better than your megademoes!" et al ... on a machine that has just the motorola and hardware-nothing otherwise :)

  The demo itself somehow reminds me of those gfx/txt adventurs the kid sometimes played on the c64 like the hobbit and stuff ... very retro
