- So you load it all to RAM and play the demo.

- demo VIC 20 Alien Conviction by Five Finger Punch
- I love the lack of pretense of exploring effects (oh I mean alien abductions and seagulls) and delivering a double-sided disk demo for the 16K Vic-20. <3 Ported playbacks are stale.

- Love your stuff Platon! But this reads like a compilation of stuff lying around. I like the logo pixelation, hate the logo scaling, nice cube... but cube. (Yes, I called it first ever in Demoscene history, cubes have been done before! :D)

- demo Amiga AGA Kick the Sofa by Focus Design [web]
- The track bumped on the party speakers. :) Quite a bit of work by all involved and crisp, fast part switching. I enjoyed the linevectors parts and the message. Specs are high vs. small screen buffers, but a solid compo entry for sure!

- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Transhuman / Pachinkoland by The Electronic Knights
- Solid prod for Gerp and worked well on the bigscreen! Familiar effects return, but again with refinement. The "Comanche" part is new, and returns at the end with some control of path speed and lookaround. I think the water/mountain colored version looks the best, even though that's maybe expected and normal.
I grumble a bit at the scrub at the end of parts to extend them, but my takeaway was, yes, more dither and squinty time again, but there are some ideas here, towards e.g. coloring and styling that can be taken in new directions, which I liked a lot. The design and pacing is spot on.
Well done! And I've lauded running on real hardware for many years, so now that I got what I wished for (well, I also care a lot about preservation) I've swapped a few copies to friends. :) - rulezadded on the 2022-04-09 19:01:52

oh groepaz, would you plz stfu at least until scoopex provided a crack or we have sent all disks :)
mildly entertaining demo mainly consisting of recycling code and oozing arrogance, weak piggy.
Mm, you tricked me there. You made sure I got a disk on the party and you didn't say or indicate on the disk that it was different from e.g. Superspreader or Hologon.
I waited a few days for you to get home and upload and record, and then I tried and failed to what I thought was an emu glitch, so I uploaded it here. That was the wrong move. This is not a dedicated preservation site, and now scene.org is hosting a different file, also not working, which is as strange as this whole affair.
Weekend approaches, I'll have a look. My first guess from this was no cracking needed and extend adf by 1 track. - isokadded on the 2022-04-08 01:05:17

Great stuff! Dig the spheres in the torus.
Ignoring the mail-swapping idea and instead posting an untested broken ADF is neither very nice nor competent, though.
I'm nice, unlike you. I'm so competent that I know copy-protected Amiga demos are unheard of, unlike you who by inverted logic claim it should be assumed from just being given a disk. It's more common to have demos working on a real Amiga glitch in emu, such as when I tested it. I've already asked to remove the download. - isokadded on the 2022-04-06 19:13:23

- The disk image dated today is incomplete and will freeze in an emulator (and very likely in an Amiga). I chalked up the freeze to emulation, but apparently it requires cracking to be preserved.

- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Megademo by Antitrax 2010
- Being trackloaded part is important because it posed a challenge requiring a loader instead of just a startup-sequence or a menu which is easy to do.
Megademos would never be the same, and it inspired other track-loaded prods such as musicdisks and trackmos. The loader would go from being system-friendly to turning off the OS completely and overwriting it, freeing up maximum memory, which left room for the loader to entertain while loading. - isokadded on the 2022-02-23 19:59:34
