• Agreed. When doing PEEK I realized that "general purpose" 3D didn't work very well and that manually tuned scene composition was the way to go.

• In some ways this reminded me of Gift - a big bundle of stuff we've seen (done better) before, but still with something nice going for it. In the case of Gift the niceness was "Yeay, it's in 64k. Also, music!", whereas in Piledriver it's the insane pacing & energy, together with the fact that it's very successful in proving a point.
  It's not often that a demo (and it's .nfo) gives me something to think about in this way and I'm really happy that this one did. :)
  
  As a standalone production this party banger is a ghetto- and sofascener's wet dream. It would be entertaining if it won a Meteoriks.

  The best parts are really interesting, but I think this would've been a lot better without the more traditional 3D and pixel graphics.
