- bbstro Amiga OCS/ECS BBS Intro by The Silents [web]
- I like(d) it. For sure, it's not an action movie but somehow it's nice to
watch - maybe because of the smooth & majestic rotation of that
cubes-on-cube-thingy and the frolic colors. And the handle of the
musician NHP will always be the acronym for "non-histone protein" for
me ;-) - rulezadded on the 2022-12-29 13:06:48
- demo Atari STe The Star Wars Demo by The Arctic Land
- To all of you who like awesome Star Wars Scrollers (SWS) like this one
here (hi UKO): Check out Raistlin's site (see below) who put together an
exquisite collection of C64 SWS and also gives an tech explanation of
his own SWS. Gosh, I didn't know SWS in such a quality were feasible
on an 8bit machine. I'm curious and wondering if there are any SWS on
the good old Amstrad CPC as well?

- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Batman Rises by Batman Group
- Oops, me again. After reading Dredd's IMPORTANT notes (settings -> PC
monitor refresh rate 50Hz, standard VSync) I am wondering if the
beam position is being manipulated (-> $dff02a/2c) here and there in
order to change the display frequency? - isokadded on the 2022-12-12 10:08:43
- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Batman Rises by Batman Group
- Oops, what's that? A new release from Batman group coded by Rhino
and already lots of comments after a short time? My anticipated joy and
excitement was at max. level. Watched the show concentrated with
mouth open and drooling (okay, no big difference to my usual
appearance). The bat definetly left a strong odour mark here. Felt a bit
like in the cinema, but in contrast to those superhero movies the BG
releases get better and better! Superman, Spiderman, Ironman and all
the others...you can go home! Enough flattery and chumming up for
today. Up, up and away (damn, wrong movie). - rulezadded on the 2022-12-11 16:18:54
- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Boom Boom by Flying Cows Inc.
- I like these orange wireframe tunnels. The first time I saw the effect, I
thought: Ooh, these are a lot of elements and what's that for a trickery?
But on second thought it's maybe just a lot of real lines without any
trickery at all (perhaps except for some cycling?). - isokadded on the 2022-12-08 14:20:09
- 64k Amiga OCS/ECS My Lucky Number by Loonies [web]
- Eh, what? Amazing checkerboard stuff, dynamically presented and well
synced to that great music. Keen on reading Blueberry's explanation
although I apprehend it's beyond my comprehension and'll leave me
frustrated (checkmate!). - rulezadded on the 2022-12-06 15:48:42

- Quote:
And for removing hidden lines you need the pixel coordinates of
the lines, if you don't want to do this by filling areas.
That's where I ended up when I thought about it with my modest
knowledge...something like one set pixel per x-coord of the audiowave,
subsequently vertically filled from top to bottom in order to get a mask.
Quote:Stay tuned. Needs some more time.
Yeah, staying tuned and taut as a bow :-)

The Spreadpoint[web] link tries to connect to MPI / Berlin (Molecular

- What StingRay wrote (2005-12-19). This is really an awesome and
inherently consistent production. It drags you in and seems to trigger
alpha brain waves, i.e., it is very relaxing and you forget your
surroundings. The textfield and image effects (-> rotation, distortion,
waves) are especially gorgeous. Very, very nice and mesmerizing! - rulezadded on the 2022-12-02 12:18:20
- 128k Amiga OCS/ECS Monochrome by Spreadpoint [web]
- Neat logo effect and audio visualisation presented in its very own style
like the previous releases. I'm curious what will be next.
Public source code appreciated and thanks for the unexpected
greetings. I had to rub my eyes in disbelief. Cheers. - rulezadded on the 2022-11-29 12:24:48
- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Sozzled somersault by The Silents [web]
- Short but flawless production. I like spacecut vectors! But the main
actor is the exceptional funky/jazzy music (acid jazz?). Reminds me of
Galliano I listened to a lot in the mid 1990s - mainly because of the
great voice of Valerie Etienne :-) - rulezadded on the 2022-11-22 11:59:26
