- diskmag MS-Dos Worldcharts #1 by Future Crew
- It was a very good diskmag.
I wish more issues we're made.
Especially since all that work went into the interface code.
I remember some of the reviews we're a triffle harsh, but still packed full of good info for the time. - rulezadded on the 2001-11-04 01:50:33
- demo MS-Dos/gus The Search for the Holy Halibut by Twilight Zone [web]
- A minute past....
Another minute past...
Then...
TZ's second GUS (ONLY) supporting release (but not their second demo.. who could forget ButtMan).
Much better sound track then Jungely (just), and it truly was funny to watch.
Basically, it played Monty Python samples, and animated character sprites to match.
It’s zany, makes no sense, and fits the Monty Python style.
Check it out if you're wanting something that's just fun. Not serious in any way.

- demo MS-Dos The Jungly Kitchen by Twilight Zone [web]
- It was... an interesting production. :)
I remember in World Charts (issue 1... the only issue) the reviewer 'Devastator / EMF' ripped it to shreds (rather cruelly I thought).
TZ's next release (The Tribute To Monty Python) is much better, both technically, and humorously.

- 32k MS-Dos Atom by Sorcerers
- The first demo I ever saw (on my 286 12MHz beast) :)
Text mode colour cycling, but what was really cool, was the digitised music that come from the PC's internal speaker.
It played a sample loop of a person singing (about 5sec looped).
Also, while the demo ran, all of the lights on yuor computer would flash in paterns (caps, scroll, num, HDD).
Impressed me at the time :) - rulezadded on the 2001-11-02 19:10:39
- demo MS-Dos ColdCut by UltraForce [web]
- The second demo I ever saw (the first being ATOM).
EGA graphics (mainly 3 scrollie text lines, each scrolling at different speeds, and a bouncing ULTRAFORCE logo).
This was the fist demo I saw with SoundBlaster support.
Although there are channel meters pictured in the demo, they didn't actually move :) They we're just "there". - rulezadded on the 2001-11-02 18:47:30
- wild Animation/Video Pekka
- A hilarious video by Yskä & Nakki. Won 4th at Assembly '99.
Check it out, you'll get a laugh

- demo MS-Dos mental surgery by Future Crew
- I got this running under NT4 on my P-III... no sound of course :( To capture the image (above)
Great example of the Scrollie Text days :) - isokadded on the 2001-10-31 22:33:09
- 32k MS-Dos yo! by Future Crew
- Impressive for it's time.
As PigPen said, all done in VGA text mode!
I even had it running under NT4 workstation :) - rulezadded on the 2001-10-31 22:06:51
