- Nice! It really resembles a hat!
Idea: As there´s a lot of computing power in nowadays CPUs, what about plotting a version of this with lets say 10 times the amount of dots and then on top of that this version in another color? I think this could look like a filled object with highlights or sth. ;) - rulezadded on the 2014-01-13 19:06:24

- @lsl:
It´s in a console, software-rendered, so you HAVE TO put multicore-functionality in there, else every computer with multicores would only use the first core.
I think you are getting it wrong all the time, it runs fast on a singlecoreCPU, so theres absolutely no NEED TO have any multicoreCPU, but it would be slower than on singlecores without adding code for multicore-functionality (divide computing power by number of HTT). And while at it i guess mu6k made use of having it anyway, adding optimizations for quadCores, thats why he recommends it. - isokadded on the 2014-01-13 18:13:56

- Simple but quite nice!

- What Salinga said, should have gone boom from there!
Also you could make use of more chars, to fake lighting and fog and so on.
But whats there is nice! - rulezadded on the 2014-01-12 07:52:56

No, for real: good job once again! Got even better than the last ones, choice-of-scenes-wise and actual eyecandy delivered in textmode!
lsl: downthumbing for making use of multicore? i mean: would you rather like it better to have just one of 8 Threads at 12.5% and the rest idling around, while the demo renders in 20fps or sth? It may not be necessary to use multicore, but i say it´s a great addition to the code. - rulezadded on the 2014-01-12 07:47:05

- WOW! this rulez! completely!
I just saw this in a youtube-list of demos, i got quite shocked at the quality...until i realized it could be a wild and not realtime! ;)
gratz on your first scene-dekade btw! :) - rulezadded on the 2014-01-09 23:17:53
